The University of the West Indies is pleased to announce the launch of ALUMNI Online, the web and social networking site for UWI graduates (
www.alumnionline.uwi.edu). It provides graduates with an easy and effective way of keeping in touch with each other, as well as with their Alma Mater. Graduates can “connect” not only in the Caribbean, but also internationally and will be able to network, make new business contacts, advertise their talents and skills and keep in touch with others who share the same interests.
Alumni Online (AO) is free to all UWI graduates. They are welcome to browse the site which gives information about such things as the 16 UWI Caribbean countries, the UWI Alumni Association Chapters and events, the Student Alumni Programme, UWI Consulting and even hosts a section for UWI Parents. Graduates can create their own personal profile page, upload photos, send messages and create blogs and more. Online donations are also possible. The site is dynamic with video clips and features to enhance the “AO experience”.
It is hoped that ALL graduates of all four of UWI’s campuses: Cave Hill, Mona, Open and St. Augustine, will fully utilize and enjoy this website - it is the online community for all UWI alumni.
